St. John’s Episcopal Church is a small but vibrant community, located on the hill at the intersection of Belair Rd, Sunshine Avenue, Bradshaw Rd, and Jerusalem Rd. We are diverse community, welcoming people from all walks of life, and we affirm that every person is a beloved child of God.
We strive to fully live into our Baptismal Covenant: to continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers; to persevere in resisting evil, and, whenever we fall into sin, to repent and return to the Lord; to proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ; to you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself; and to strive for justice and peace among all people, and to respect the dignity of every human.
